Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 in-depth Review [Video Review]
It has been quite some time since the release of Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and we believe many of us have been waiting for an in-depth review of the phone, here in Nepal.
Some other features on this phone include 'Multi-Window' feature and 'One Hand Operation' feature.
Worth mentioning is the one-hand-operation feature. This feature enables the user to move the entire screen to a side of the phone and serves up perfectly for a single hand use.
Once the one-hand-operation is turned on from the settings, a simple gesture minimizes the screen size. To either side of the screen.
The camera is also capable of capturing 720p video.
The phone is backed up by a powerful 2600 mAh battery. Grand 2 will easily last for over 15 hours once charged. On pure video playback, runs for just about 5 hours

Feature and Specifications:
The device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system-on-a-chip (SoC) running at 1.2 GHz. Being a mid-range phone, the device offers a quad-core processor which is expected to be more powerful than similar processors from Broadcom and Mediatek that are more commonly found in phones at this price range.
With about 1.5GB of RAM under the hood, multitasking on the phone seems a bit shaky as most of the RAM is used by the phones internal processes. Also, samsunghas been a little stingy with only 8GB of internal storage space, though you can add up to 64GB more using a micro SD card. Both SIM cards use the GSM standard and 3G speeds up to 21Mbps. The device features acceleration, magnetic, proximity, rotation and orientation sensors.
GPU on this phone, Adreno 305 performs remarkably well. As, we tested the set with some powerful games, the device performed remarkably well with only minor lags. We can easily juice out an average of 50-60fps from the phone. If you love playing game on your smartphone, this would match your need.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 has 8.1MP primary camera and a 1.9 MP secondary camera. Inbuilt in the phone are some amazing camera modes such as Continuous Shot, Beauty Face, Best Face, Rich Tone (HDR), Panorama, Sports and Night.
The camera is also capable of capturing 720p video.
Benchmark tests:
From the benchmark readings, the phone is better than several devices but falls a bit behind than the Samsung galaxy S3. The Antutu Benchmark reading shows up a bit less score on RAM compared to other devices priced at this range.
