Apple Iphone 6 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Two top-notch flagship smart-phones of two reputed companies, Samsung and Apple. Lets start by going through their specifications and then we'll cut right to the chase.
The Apple Iphone 6 Plus comes with a LED-backlit IPS LCD display of 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels( ~401 ppi pixel density). The screen has an oleophobic coating and a shatter proof glass which also prevents the screen from getting any scratches. Apple tends to use their own operating system in their products and similarly the Iphone 6 Plus runs on an iOS 8 which can be upgraded to iOS 8.1.3.
For a swift processing speed and performance, the Apple Iphone 6 Plus uses a dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based) processor for its CPU and an Apple A8 chipset. Memory-wise, the phone comes with a ROM of 16/64/128 GB and a RAM of 1 GB. The down side of this phone is that the memory isn't expandable like that of the Galaxy Note 4.
The smart-phone is equipped with a 8 MP primary camera and a 1.2 MP secondary camera. The primary camera shoots pictures of 3264 x 2448 pixels with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, etc. and the secondary camera can be used for FaceTime over Wi-Fi or Cellular. Also, the camera can film 1080p@60 fps and 720p@240fps videos. Similarly, the primary camera can be used for simultaneous HD video and image recording.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a QuadHD 5.7 inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels (~515 ppi pixel density). Like other high-end Samsung products, the screen uses a Gorilla glass protection which is a Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone operates on an Android OS, v4.4.4 (Kitkat).
With a quad-core 2.7 Ghz Krait 450 (SM-N910S), quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 (SM-N910 C) processors, you can get your heart racing on excellent processing speed and performance. Also, the Galaxy Note 4 uses qualcomm snapdragon 805 (SM-N910S) and Exynos 5433 (SM-N10C) as chipsets. The smartphone has a 3 GB RAM and an internal memory of 32 GB (which can be expanded up to 128 GB).
Now, lets look at the cameras of this beast. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 MP primary camera which can click pictures of 5312 x 2988 pixels with optical image stabilization, auto-focus, LED flash, etc. The main feature of the primary camera is that it can perform dual shot and simultaneous HD (2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps) video and image recording. It also has a 3.7 MP secondary camera which can film 1440p videos.
The smartphone uses a removable Li-Ion 3220 mAh battery which can provide much juice for the phone than the Iphone 6 Plus.

So which is better?
Both the smart-phones look very promising in terms of technology. But the question remains, which one is better? The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or the Apple Iphone 6 Plus?
So, if we see which smart-phone wins specs-wise, it has got to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - courtesy better display, better processing speed and a better battery life too. But if your not a spec geek and would like to know if the Apple Iphone 6 Plus is as good as a phone to own or not, then we would like to say a big YES! Though the specs seem kind of low on the Iphone 6 Plus when compared to the Galaxy Note 4, it performs smooth and is, in face, a brand to have.
We would love to know which smart-phone would you prefer to use among these two? Do tell us in the comment section below!
