Gionee Marathon M3 : Price and Specifications
The previously released smartphone from Gionee in Nepal, the Gionee Marathon M3 is available in stores at the price of NPR 19,985. Powered by a 5000 mAh battery, the Gionee Marathon M3 is a definite buy for the people who want a long battery life over a single complete charge.
The Gionee Marathon M3 comes with a IPS LCD capacitive display screen of 5 inches with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels (~294 ppi pixel density). The sharpness and vividness of the colors on this phone are pretty nice and can be considered excellent while viewing high definition pictures. However, it doesn't have any screen protection on it.
Moving onto its processing, the Gionee Marathon M3 uses a quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU alongside a RAM of 1 GB. Also, a Mali-450 is equipped in the phone as its GPU. The processing speed is average in comparison to other smartphones falling in this price range. Also, the Gionee Marathon M3 has a memory of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB and it operates on an older version of Android OS i.e. v4.4.2 (KitKat).
Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with a 8 MP primary camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 2 MP secondary camera. The smartphone provides features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection and panorama for clicking pictures and it also records videos of 720p@30fps. As mentioned earlier, the battery used in this smartphone is a Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery which gives a stand by time of upto 792 hours.
