A possibility : Smartphone internal memory in Terabytes
Many people buy a smartphone primarily for its easy storage and usage of data and information which make their life more simpler. Now-a-days, most of the smartphones have a memory of below 64 GB which is proving to be insufficient to the common smartphone users. But now according to CNN, due to some advances in memory design and construction, the internal memory of a smartphone may be expanded in a big way.A team led by chemist James Tour of Rice University has developed a breakthrough in Resistive Random-Access Memory (RRAM) technology. RRAM is much faster than a flash memory and doesn't need continous power. Another main feature of RRAM is that it uses silicon oxide which is one of the most studied and abundant substance on Earth and can be manafactured at room temperature. Thus, by the use of this new technology, a smartphone can have built-in storage of approximately 1 Terabyte.
