Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 : Budget phone for Nepal

Keeping the budget in mind, Micromax has successfully released its new 3G smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 at a price of NPR 10,000 in Nepal. The sleek and stylish smartphone fits ideally in the Nepalese market for the gadget lovers who are in a budget.

The Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 has a 4.7 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, bringing forth colorful qHD experience with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (~234 ppi pixel density). The phone is surrounded by a cool metallic rim and screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Focusing onto its major specifications, the Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 runs on a quad core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 processor along with a Mediatek MT6582M chipset and an 1 GB DDR3 RAM. The GPU on this device is the Mali-400 whereas the operating system used by the device is an Android OS, v5.0 (Lollipop). With hardware like these, the smartphone has got swift processing speed in spite of its low cost and can provide a lag-free gaming experience for games which do not need high requirements to run.

Regarding the cameras, the device is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera and comes with some common features like autofocus, geo-tagging, etc. The camera delivers average quality of pictures and is quite commendable for its low cost. It also can film videos of 720p@30fps.

Powered by a Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which gives a talktime of up to 7 hours and a standby time of up to 335 hours, the phone might not amaze the users regarding its battery backup. On the other hand, the internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB is certainly a plus point for the cheap yet powerful phone.
